Hannah Wilkinson

ABOUT ME

 

My name is Hannah Wilkinson and I recently graduated with a BS from North Carolina State University in May of 2017. I studied in the College of Textiles and majored in Fashion and Textile Design with a concentration in Product Development. Fashion has always drawn my attention and I enjoy updating myself on trends, fashion and beauty blog editorials, and all things fashion forward. I have experience interning in Women's Knitwear Design at Aeropostale, focusing on short sleeve, long sleeve, polos, sweaters, and bare clothing. I also interned with Symbology Clothing, an ethical fashion company, and worked on apparel and graphic design. Finally, during my last semester of senior year, I interned at a mobile boutique called Ten15, where I focused on marketing, increasing social media following, weekly trend

reports and design.

I gained much inspiration throughout my summer of 2015 study abroad experience in Florence, Italy. Through my complex major and experience, I have learned both the design side and the business side of the industry. I am efficient in CAD software, PLM, sewing, pattern making, constructing techpacks, handsketching and illustrating. I also have studied the business of the industry through Consumer Behavior courses, along with Accounting and Economics. I am searching for entry level positions in design and product development.
